The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 Mark RIM’s first foray into an unknown form-factor: a flip-phone. While flip-phones have been considered fashionable since the RAZR to fame around 2003, the Pearl Flip shakes up the status quo. The phone packs the same innovative features, the BlackBerry has become synonymous, but in a form factor that protects both the screen and pocket keeps valuable real estate.

Unusually, the design grew on me, and then characterized under standard tariff of RIM. The Pearl Flip, which is currently offered in black with chrome trimmings and shares the same mature style that the much-touted BlackBerry Bold features 9000th With the clamshell closed, the front of the phone has a camera, flash, message indicator and a small display.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY 8220 FLIP PEARL WITH DISCOUNT

The external standard screen shows the battery status, alarm status, number of unread messages, signal type and strength, and an analog clock with date. This also allows you to preview display when they come by clicking up or down volume buttons on the right. By pressing the volume button, the message sender and subject is displayed, then press the right button convenience, the message itself is displayed.

This useful function could be improved if they read views set the status of the message as “be open rather than to remove the device to the indicator. Continuing with the external Tour, has the Pearl Flip, the volume buttons and the two convenience keys I just mentioned. This involves connecting a mute button, an expandable miniSD memory card slot, standard headphone jack and a charger.

The Pearl Flip sports the new BlackBerry OS 4.6, the same basic build the new BlackBerry Bold. The most obvious improvement over the OS is the new standard wire-frame aesthetic theme. While nice, the real benefits of the new OS were elsewhere, though.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY 8220 FLIP PEARL WITH DISCOUNT

A short trip to the Applications folder shows a complete suite of Microsoft Office applications such as DataViz Documents To Go known. The suite – consisting of Word To Go, Sheet To Go and Slideshow To Go – is essentially mobile versions of their desktop counterparts, the edit, view, store can, and share documents of the respective types.

The Pearl Flip would be a great introduction to the world of smart phones for casual users. It offers an experience that can not be replicated by a normal phone and is competitive with most other smartphones. Although the full BlackBerry experience is something lost in the smaller device, it is definitely the original Pearl excels by virtue of their Wi-Fi and the updated OS. In order to check email, access the Web to listen to music, and occasionally shoots pictures and videos, this phone is a winner. However, Power Users want to skip out, or pick them up just for the weekends.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY 8220 FLIP PEARL WITH DISCOUNT

Overall, the Pearl Flip is not only offers an excellent price, given its extensive features and compact flip form, but it comes backed with a prestigious name and is inexpensive. The inclusion of GPS would make this device difficult to pass up, but generally it is not lacking in the software. The yearning for a small, powerful smartphone for everyday use, the Pearl Flip should be on your short list!

The 5530 is a cheap touch screen music phone that Nokia’s answer to the LG and the Samsung Tocco is Cookie Lite. It is a bit more expensive than the competition, but offers a whole lot more. As well as shows with the highest resolution in its class, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, an excellent video camera, excellent music player and an FM radio, 4 GB of memory, WiFi, a 3, 5-mm headphone jack and excellent battery life.

The Nokia 5530 Xpress Music can be a stripped down version of the be considered 5800th The 5530 is compact, with a smaller screen, no 3G, no Carl Zeiss optics in the camera, and costs about 70 less than the 5800th Alternatively, you can look at 5530 as a souped Cookie Lite Tocco. The 5530 has a higher screen resolution, a flash of the camera, WiFi, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and costs about 60 pounds more than the cookie or the Tocco Lite on a pay as you go. You can see that the 5530 is positioned exactly in the middle ground, both in terms of features and price.

BUY NOW NOKIA 5530 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

So much for comparisons with other mobile phones, let’s take a good look at the 5530 in their own right. The first thing is to say that Nokia to implement a touch screen interface is pretty good. You can put the 5530 either with your fingers or the stylus usage. Either way, it’s responsive and easy to use. The display is a good size, with 2.9 inches and has a phenomenally high resolution of 640 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, making it one of the best screens in its class. And if you’re talking touch screen, the quality of the screen really matters! The home screen is customizable, allowing one-touch access to Facebook, e-mail, music, etc. The new Contacts bar is also very funny, so you put your 20 best friends and family on the Home screen. We must also mention that the screen rotates automatically when you turn the phone on its side. In portrait mode to enter numbers and text using a virtual alphanumeric keypad with predictive text or regular text. In landscape mode, a full QWERTY keyboard is available, the ideal would like to use for people like us, the punctuation in their text messages! Watch the demo video below.

The phone is part of the Nokia Xpress Music line-up, so let’s take a look at the next video. It is impressive. Not only is it a fully featured music player with support for all popular music formats as well as an equalizer, but there’s also an FM radio built in. There are two speakers – one on the top and one on the bottom (you can use the speaker grid to see in the photo) – with excellent stereo widening and a 3D surround effect. A bass booster add punch to your music. Another bonus is the 3.5mm audio jack, which you can choose to use the supplied headphones or an upgrade to high-quality headphones that use a standard AV connection. We honestly can not blame the music features of this device.

The camera is not quite so impressive that a standard provides 3.2 megapixels, but it has autofocus and flash. And to its credit, it is extremely easy to use, making good use of touch-screen menus, and is very fast in order to record images. To be fair, it is more than sufficient to be uploaded for the inclusion of photos on Facebook, and the print quality images are possible. Video recording is also available, and that is really surprisingly good. The video camera records at resolutions all the way up to up to VGA (640 x 480 pixels) – despite the Nokia site says 176 x 220 pixels! – And there are practical functions such as video zoom, video light and the ability to pause recording and continue to be a real film director are!

BUY NOW NOKIA 5530 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

We are impressed with the connectivity. As well as Bluetooth and USB connections, the 5530 is one of the few phones in its class that has a wireless connection. This goes some way to make for the lack of 3G. In fact, if you can get a wireless connection, then you will experience a faster data transfer speeds with WiFi than 3G.

The 5530 also stands out when it comes to memory. Supplied with a generous 70 MB of onboard memory and a 4GB card as standard, you can around 1000-2000 songs, and the microSD memory card can store up to 16 GB storage capacity even further upgraded. Similarly, the battery life is excellent, which up to 27 hours of music playback time. If you consider the size and weight of the device, this is as much as you hope. It is also worth mentioning that we have found the 5530, exceptionally well-cast, so that we have in places that have completely different phones we tested, beaten to speak.

BUY NOW NOKIA 5530 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

We are very pleased with the 5530 overall very impressed. It offers a good feature for a mid-range phone, and everything works smoothly. A better camera would have been the icing on the cake, but remember that this being marketed as a music phone, we would say it served its purpose very well. Like all Symbian-smartphones, it has the occasional glitch, but nothing to spoil things too much. We awarded five stars, the 5530 at launch. A year later, so does the price does not seem like that appear, despite new competitors with improved properties, and so we fall our rating to 4

The affordable C6 combines sentimental capabilities with a sleek physical QWERTY Nokia’s C-Series is quickly becoming the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer smartest collection of fans. The stylish Nokia Nokia C5 and C3 have been the norm for basic functionality combined with high-quality design and now looks set to follow C6.

Symbia S60 residue despite Apple IOS 4 and Android Apps for the adjustment and remains easy to use. Setting up e-mail on the home screen is as easy as tapping in your e-mail address and password, and it’s the same for direct access Facebook. That is, the windshield is too confusing, especially to see if the landscape. There is simply too much going on to keep your focus right. Perhaps the C6 is oriented to his cousin, the candybar-C5, which made far more, were minimal.

BUY NOW NOKIA C6 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

When in portrait mode, it is much easier on the eye, but you are then reliant on the touch screen, which, if we honestly not up to snuff. It measures dexter also against Motorola, but that’s hardly a compliment.Resistive touch screens are always better (the LG Optimus is a good example), but this effort is average, the continuously prods and Re-prods. Sliding through menus and Web pages is not pretty, and you will fall back on the physical buttons and the D-pad at every opportunity.

The QWERTY but is more than decent. It only took a few minutes, get up to really, to speed it up, the keys provide a reassuring thunk every time she listened, with a decent Bobble in any order you not pressed the wrong key while typing text slip. There are two minor concerns, however. As with the N97 and Motorola Milestone, the D-pad on the right side means you are stretching your right thumb to give over the phone, which can cause real problems. The Spacebar is strange, and laid to take a while to get used to it. These niggles have been ironed out with the N97 Mini, so it seems strange that Espoo has them back for the C6 fallen.

Web browsing is standard, with pages rendered well by the 320×640, 3.2-inch screen. Zoom is not very large, although the load times were decent on 3G. T3.com takes about thirty seconds to fully charge. Flash Lite is perfect on board, although it remains clunky and still is not good for viewing Web-based video. If you want you’re off is best Holding Out for a top-end mobile phone with Android FroYo Flash 10.1.

The speed of the device is of concern, however. Running the same 434MHz processor as the N-series cousins, how many units of the S60 feels take the C6 sluggish, the time to swap from portrait to landscape and offers up ugly white screens when opening applications like Facebook . It does not have the same force as Snappy rival Android efforts.

The snapper is one of Nokia phone is on C6. The 5MP images are supported by a functioning LED light and there is ample opportunity to display your photos on social media with one-touch access to share on the Web. Other multimedia features like music and video playback, take their cue from S60, with basic results. The media player looks average, but good works, and only the phone would be technophobic users do not get it under control. The battery is a bit like a winner, with just shy of two days performance despite sending plenty of emails, zipping through the web, and is great calls.

The Nokia is the N97 a decent stab C6 brings a lower price. However, it feels something like a retread of the N97 Mini. If you want the aggregation capabilities of the C6 and then HTC Wildfire and (albeit expensive) HTC Legend have better skills in a similar price. This is a decent phone, but unlikely to convert anyone Symbian, so it is a handset for Nokia fans, with the priority of SMS and e-mail.

Riding on the coattails of the recent success of the Samsung Eternity’s, Samsung and AT&T have the same phone and has taken to create a few extra features of the Samsung A877 Impression.

There are a few differences between the two to discuss. First, the impression throws in the full physical keyboard, while eternity is all touch screen. Second, the AMOLED screen. This organic display is much easier to see brighter than a standard LCD, in the sun, and since it involved no background lighting to more energy efficient.

BUY NOW SAMSUNG IMPRESSION a877 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

Another small difference is the lack of mobile TV in the impression. This may not be a huge disappointment for most, and it is good, a couple of reasons why consumers can still choose between these two phones. Another thing that is different impression of eternity and their design.

I enjoyed with the impression. It was the closest to a touch-screen smartphone can get without it officially as a. The impression is in the amount of new messaging and media-centric phones that flood the market right now.

BUY NOW SAMSUNG IMPRESSION a877 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

I like to a new phone with brand new features, see the coming challenge of competition. The AMOLED screen is one example of a function, which will begin slowly popping up all over the U.S. market.

There are not many bad things said about the impression, because it takes forever and improves it, although I am disappointed that it has no extra customization options were added to the device. I was also bothered by the hard-to-unlock push-click on the page.

BUY NOW SAMSUNG IMPRESSION a877 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

The phone design is pretty impressive, but to annoy many users because of its size. If you have a phone that look for cuts in bulk, the impression is not for you. This is where eternity is the better alternative. Overall, the impression is worth a second look, but it is not for everyone. Be sure to check it out and see if it works well for you.

Hands on with the T-Mobile T-Garminfone Mobles Garminfone Garmin the first Android smartphone in North America is published. Produced by the Garmin Asus partnership, there are many goodies you would on a nuvi including the North American maps, cross view, lane assist, Where am I? Includes tracklogs routing and multi-destination. Quick Links More T-Mobile T-Mobile Reviews Garminfone Garminfone resources How much does it cost?Garminfone interface you can from the startup screen is shown below, controls the navigation interface. The sliding tray application in the bottom of the screen can individually point to the most frequently accessed apps. Pull the tray application up to view all apps (see below). This is a custom interface, but it’s well done. One of the few drawbacks is that you tap the widgets icon to all the widgets you have installed can see, but you get five screens for them (sample screen below). Of course, the screen automatically rotates to portrait or landscape mode, thanks to the integrated acceleration sensor. Navigating with the Garminfone The Where To? Option offers a variety of familiar choices. In addition to the pictured below, you can also Upcoming Events, Panoramio, gas prices, select cities, White Pages, coordinates, intersections and extras. Voice Search for points of interest and Google Local Search .

This seems to use Android’s integrated voice and search functions, it is very accurate. To save a favorite “Saved Locations”, just look for the address or point of interest, simply type the balloon on the map, then tap Save. The map view is very familiar to nuvi owners. Tap called on the field at the top left to the next turn to hear, tap the top bar shows the next train to create a route to view data including a list of turns. You can icon in traffic accident (TAP for more info), speed (if any), current speed and arrival time. Tap to view one of the two data fields to the trip computer and compass screen below. Settings> Navigation You can adjust settings for the automotive, pedestrian and public transport. You can change the voice settings here as well. A lot of features are able to bury the rest of the Apps, but here you can see the most commonly used ones that move on Application tray for quick access.

These include the gallery, Flight Status, Where am I?, Film, Ciao, Traffic-Search, Google Maps and routes. If you use more than one point if the navigation to a goal, you have the routes feature that lets you optimize a list of destinations or manual, can use them again. One feature that I do not think I’ve seen on Nuvis is the ability to page through Points of Interest (POIs), with the arrow keys shown below. Another point of interest for buyers with a strong interest in navigation smartphone – the Garminfone supports and runs Google Maps navigation. This gives you a built-in Garmin navigation should revert to desert.

Traffic information in real-time traffic reporting is provided by NAVTEQ available and I was pleased to see reports show each other outside of their supposed coverage area. For this reason, I suspect that has NAVTEQ (and can be used to) the data for these areas, but can not deliver on FM, when its out of reach of the transmitter. Anyway, I was excited to see that, and it could tip you over buying Garminfone if you filled in a fringe area to live. The stock browser browser loaded faster than most of the pages of my current favorite Android browser (Skyfire) on my Droid. It also seemed to mobile versions of the tested sites more frequently than divert Skyfire. Pinch worked very well increase, even though the browser does not seem to fit Auto Resize page text as well as other browsers I tried. Here is a screenshot showing the GPS track log. Some hardware-Notes The Garminfone comes with a car mount, car and AC charger, stereo headset and microSD card. The headset uses an adapter (supplied) to connect to the phone via the mini-USB port.

BUY NOW T-MOBILE GARMINFONE AT A SPECIAL PRICE

The phone is light, tipping my scales at 5.1 ounces. For comparison, my Motorola Droid (seen on the right, below) weighs 6.0 ounces. The 3.5-inch screen is slightly smaller than the 3.7″ Droid. Connecting the unit in your car is easy, as the charger fits into the holder and not directly to the Garminfone. The mount shown below, is quite small and uses the universal Garmin mounting point to mount it to the supplied suction mount or connect to a friction. The internal speaker seemed sufficient during my tests. I would not necessarily call it loud, but I could also directions with music and air conditioners go listen. Call quality was very good, clear, in fact, than my Droid, which my wife complained repeatedly about himself. Here are some quick pictures I snapped with the 3MP camera.

You can use the geotagging of photos, and I have full size geotagged versions published in Picasa. Custom UI and Android 1.6 The main drawback of this phone that it is on Android version 1.6 with its own user interface (UI) plug. This custom UI means that it is difficult for Garmin Asus to update the operating system, and will probably take longer if they do it. Personally, the biggest thing I miss about my voice was Droid. Advertisements in Android v 2.1, so you can enter text by voice in almost any field. I use it extensively for composing e-mails and text messages and painful it missing on this unit. I also miss my home screen and would really prefer that act more like an app navigation interface, easily accessible from the OS, and not as a layer on the OS.

I have only installed a few apps, but not quite all come, which would not run to 1.6 in the process. However, this is an important aspect. Garminfone professionals best Android mobile phone for navigation can be a device, giving you a nuvi-like navigation and a smart phone All the benefits of Android – the seamless integration of Gmail, Google Contacts, etc., access to Android Market apps through lean Good bear and small interface provides live traffic at least in some remote areas, where there is no reception FM traffic receiver built-in screenshot app Powered Garminfone disadvantages Relatively small mount 3.5-inch screen uses Android 1.6 (Android is now up to v 2.2 ) Custom UI may mean it is hard or slowly updated to a new version of Android is no warning when limit is exceeded must for map updates to pay (though it is guaranteed with Garmin n aps) No 3.5 mm headphone jack (must be included adapter ) use Conclusion and Recommendation If you would like a device, a smartphone with the best navigation app, this is the droid you have been looking for.

BUY NOW T-MOBILE GARMINFONE AT A SPECIAL PRICE

Despite Android 1.6 to insert, it really is an excellent device. Would my Motorola Droid this? I doubt it, if for no other reason than the limited range of T-Mobile in my area. I love the market coverage, as this is a major problem where I live, this is the first device I with honest reporting seen in my area have. This alone could tip me on it. But in the end, I do not think I would give up voice entry for e-mail and SMS, I use this feature many times a day. So I guess my recommendation depends on the importance of integrated navigation system or traffic fringes are covering for you, things like voice-versus-entry text boxes and guarantees of about compatibility. Only you can decide, know that Garmin has a very hard line here hoe. I understand their reluctance to get into the App game, but I would be a Garmin-Asus phone much more quickly if the navigation interface were like an app, rather than buy a custom interface set. Of course, they can create an excellent product with a large surface area and, Unlike many people, I think they have the potential to compete in this market.

But they really have a way to run the latest version of Android or the market they find themselves leave behind.

With its large screen, fast internet connection – with both Wi-Fi and HSDPA – camera, sophisticated media player, GPS and much more, would be the BlackBerry Bold seems the profile fit an iPhone challenger, but this discussion is largely irrelevant – the two could be in different markets, and while the iPhone is a good entertainment station, the Bold is the one who means it. It makes business look good though – all seriously stylish black and chrome with a leather-look back, that they should stop slipping Town boardroom tables (which seem a touch shaky these days, textured). To the sides are essential items, including press volume rocker, camera shutter button, USB port, MicroSD memory card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and voice dialing.

At 66mm, it takes a walk on the wide side, although this is of course necessary to accommodate the QWERTY keyboard. Fortunately, makes up for it, by just 15mm thin and weighing 136g, so it does not feel like a brick in your pocket. The screen is a detailed than average half-VGA (480×320 pixel) 65,000 colors display, read the bright, clear and easy – which let’s face it, what is the message-centric Blackberry series goes.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

Like the best business phones, the Bold will help you work quickly and efficiently, with a minimum of effort. The casual simplicity of the QWERTY keyboard hides the thousands of man hours of R&D, which have gone into this clever design. The buttons are well arranged and easily bent, so they are easy to find with your thumb. All the main symbols and punctuation marks are up there at the front, with a touch of the “Alt” key, and there is a separate key for capital letters on each side. Above the keyboard are buttons for call start and end, menu and back surrounding Blackberry’s rather lovely trackball, which navigate a very intuitive and efficient manner, both scroll through menus and web pages.

The messaging, as one would expect it is very easy and painless, with quick access to e-mail accounts, and you can have your email pushed to the device once it hits your inbox. You can also create your own Word, Excel and PowerPoint attachments with Documents To Go for BlackBerry.

Moving online with the fast HSDPA 3.6 Mbit s 3G connection or broadband via Wi-Fi, is not so, as the experience of the iPhone delivered as Flash, but it works well. The track ball is nipping around web pages, you can zoom in on text and large with the tap of a thumb. Menu options include web feeds, bookmarks, and so the previous pages, all you need to make fast, efficient use of the Web while you’re on the road.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

There is a 2-megapixel camera on board, which is doing an honest job, but one can not but it is a bit underpowered to some other smartphones which cost less than those in the comparison. A point in his favor is that it is very fast access – it is up and running in less than two seconds after pressing the shutter release button on the side which makes it ideal for quick snapshots.

The image quality is not fair, set if for this exceptional level of camera, and there are a few limited editing options as well as geotagging (positioning data in image files so that you can see where they have been takenon a map), and the opportunity to upload your images directly on your Facebook profile.Video resolution, as usual, is not up to the same standard as stills, but it went pretty well, with little obvious screen lag.

Battery-as the Bold was a bit of a disappointment, and we had a regular basis for charging on the second day of average use. But despite this, and although the GPS and camera could have been a little better, nor is the Bold As, when it comes to messaging, and offers a very decent browsing experience. A few others, like Nokia N71, HTC Touch Pro, can come close in this regard, but none of them may well overtake it be considered a business tool, with.

The question is whether the new and improved iPhone 3G, all earned rave reviews and awards received, it is easy to answer: it does. What does the iPhone 3G has it in abundance. With improved connectivity, durability, speed, reception and refinements in their positioning and button material design, the 3G iPhone miles ahead of its predecessor, and even further ahead of the competition. But best of all, it comes with a greatly reduced price, and higher storage capacity.

While the iPhone 3G is not the first 3G phone, it makes better use of technology than other devices before it. Apart from his four 3G radio bands, the iPhone 3G has three GSM radio bands, bluetooth and Wi-Fi, seamless access and use from virtually anywhere. But the iPhone 3G really shines in its improved performance of the software.

BUY NOW APPLE iPHONE 3G 16GB AT A SPECIAL PRICE

The iPhone 3G supports the software 2.0, an upgrade, the new, additional features such as promises to iWork document support, to seek contacts and the ability to display PowerPoint presentations. Also contained in the Software are parental controls, a scientific calculator and use bulk-delete option. The supported Microsoft Exchange Server also offers e-mail, contact and appointment scheduler, remote wipe, global contacts access, and auto-discovery, remedies improve their working use crossover even further.

Although many users contracted with ATT with the first iPhone are probably annoyed last fall, new users will certainly forward by the price cut. But users: respect for the two-year contract from AT&T is in the course of time cost more than the first generation iPhone, while it is more easily to the front, it bears a heavier luggage.

Like all Apple products, the iPhone 3G a work of art, and is somewhere between fashion accessory front and Jack-of-all-trades handheld tool. The body retains its overall structure from its previous versions, but with important differences in the materials used. The keys are for the further protection against damage to chrome, while the touch screen itself has a few cosmetic changes to had better protection and easier to use touch screen. The aluminum backing was coated by an ultra-lightweight, black plastic, which helps pay for the goods had been replaced, while a reduction of weight.

BUY NOW APPLE iPHONE 3G 16GB AT A SPECIAL PRICE

A major difference between the iPhone 3G and the iPhone is the former location of the headphone jack. While other iPhones a recessed headphone jack, the new iPhone 3G’s headphone jack was still flush with the body, so that the user does not hook up 3.5mm headphones you like. The iPhone 3G supports three 3G bands, 850, 1900 and 2100, making it impressive speed and connectivity. In fact, proven in demonstrations of speed, the speed of the iPhone 3G, at triple the speed of the previous iPhone. But it is not certain whether these speeds, a standard when there are many iPhone 3Gs are using the same network.

The GPS functionality with the iPhone 3G will be offered a cut above others, with Assisted GPS using satellites. The iPhone 3G GPS can also be used for live tracking, making it a very useful tool for pedestrian and car navigation. Better still, the iPhone 3G offers photo geotagging. Turn-by-turn directions, third-party promised to follow shortly.

The battery life of the iPhone 3G also has strong improvements over the previous iPhone, providing more than 10 hours of talk time 2G, 3G five hours of talk time, five hours of 3G Internet time, six hours of Wi-Fi Internet time, seven hours of video playback and 24 hours of audio playback. These improvements are likely to keep the charger at home use, such that for all accounts, the whole day. The iPhone 3G also offers support for more than 15 languages and includes a spray applicator styled for writing characters in Asian languages.

BUY NOW APPLE iPHONE 3G 16GB AT A SPECIAL PRICE

Although the iPhone 3G is not revolutionary, it takes up the ante by an incredible job of refining technologies available, the improvement on the previous iPhone design and the various demanding business and entertainment district, multimedia mobile phone markets. Hopefully we will see the future, one that taps into the iPhone multimedia, video and audio capabilities pioneered by Apple. But by then the iPhone 3G should do an excellent job bridging over you.

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 is the CDMA version of the new generation of smartphones Curve with an optical trackpad and music playback controls on the smartphone. We saw the design on the Blackberry 8520 GSM versions, and now the CDMA versions are available on two big U.S. CDMA carriers Verizon and Sprint. We take a look at the Verizon version in this post, but the hardware and the RIM bundled software versions are very similar on both Verizon and Sprint. The biggest difference is the bearer of proprietary software and services.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY CURVE 8530 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

BlackBerry Curve 8530, he has an excellent QWERTY keyboard. The buttons are not very big, but they are very useful, both with an audible click and tactile feedback when you press the keys. Like the GSM version Curve 8520, Curve 8530, the sides that make it easy to grip rubberized smartphone has certainly a pleasure to come as more and more smartphones in a smooth shiny form. The side buttons (volume and convenience key) and the top music controls, all under the rubber cover or caps, and they are easy to use. The phone has a 3.5mm standard stereo headphone jack and a microSD card slot for storing music and other media content. The microSD card slot and is under the battery cover, but you must not remove the battery to access it. The Curve supports SDHC cards up to 16GB. The 2-megapixel camera sits on the top left corner on the back of the curve.

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 has decent reception and sound 1x 3G reception. Voice quality is decent but not super clear, but the volume is very loud. Most Bluetooth headsets worked well with the curve in terms of voice quality and volume, and all hands-free functions smoothly. The smartphone address book integrated with VZ Navigator: There are options to navigate, you see, or share locations with VZ Navigator inside of the address book. As with other BlackBerry devices, the Curve 8530 is offering support for 10 e-mail accounts in addition to your BlackBerry e-mail account, and the push e-mail experience outstanding.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY CURVE 8530 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 is equipped with EV-DO Rev. 0 for data and comes with a full HTML browser that displays web pages in desktop style. Although the phone has a good 3G speeds on Verizon, the browser while loading is full HTML pages with a decent number of pictures themselves off with slow JavaScript in your browser settings (Javascript continue the BlackBerry Web browser be fatal). When you turn on JavaScript, HTML pages, full load even slower. We had some broken layouts in the use of the browser to different websites, including our own website to display. The browser integrates search with Bing. We look forward to the future of RIM Web Kit browser, because their existing Web browser still falls on the back of the smartphone pack.

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 is a good music phone, thanks to the speaker, microSD card slot with SDHC loud support, integration with V CAST Music with Rhapsody and the support for BlackBerry Media Sync. There are several ways to get music on your phone: Download buy your music on a microSD card, melodies from the V CAST Music Store or iTunes, BlackBerry Media Sync (a free download for Mac and PC) offers easy iTunes synchronize for the songs and playlists. The Curve 8530 DRM-free music supports MP3, is AMR-NB, WMA9 AMR-WB, QCELP EVRC, AAC LC, AAC +, eAAC + and Windows Media 10 Standard Professional formats and the phone with BlackBerry Media Player for Music and video playback. The audio quality over the built-in speaker is quite good and the volume is super loud. The Curve also has a standard 3.5mm stereo audio out jack and it works with Bluetooth stereo headphones via A2DP. Other music tools on the curve are VzwTones to download ringtones and VCAST Song ID. The BlackBerry Curve 8530 also works with V CAST Video over EV-DO. If the 3G connection is strong, watch V CAST video and smooth sound is in sync with video.

Like the BlackBerry Curve 8520, Curve 8530 has a 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom and a fixed focus lens. By default, the right button starts the camera application convenience. For a smartphone, a 2-megapixel camera is built low-end, but by taking the 2-megapixel camera phone standards, the 8530 Curve decent photos. Still pictures look with bright colors saturated and balanced, but there are a lot of noise in the photos. The image quality Warrants Web posting of snapshots, but for the fine print or photo editing, is not impressed by the quality of these pictures no one. The camera application offers settings for white balance, picture resolution, quality, color and effect geotagging.

BUY NOW BLACKBERRY CURVE 8530 AT A SPECIAL PRICE

The Curve 8530 can also record video with sound in either QVGA 176 x 144 or MMS-resolution. Videos look smooth and the audio in sync with the video.

For users with Verizon for the new entry-level curve, which have been waiting for 8530 is finally here. The Curve 8530 is a solid smartphone with decent specs, and it has the new trackpad and the dedicated media control buttons at the top. The smartphone feels fast running multimedia applications such as music and video, and it supports the new VZ Navigator 5th The Curve 8530 has good quality and a voice cried out loud speakerphone, an excellent push email experience, integrated WiFi and Bluetooth V2.1 with the latest technology, a complete set of profiles. The BlackBerry Web browser is still disappointed in terms of speed and rendering capabilities, and we wish the battery life was better.

First we want for the provision of Samsung this unit for a period, so that we achieve in a position to know the community and let you what we think the device in comparison to other Android phones on the market to thank, . Sun started. As far as the outer casing of the phone intercept is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It has a nice form-factor and is very easy to keep. The outside is a gunmetal gray color with silver accents, and includes some very nice large navigation buttons. All in all, I would design a whole 5.4.

Next we have the battery life. The Samsung Intercept is comparable to other Android phone on the market these days, on average about 10 hours with normal everyday use (eg web browsing, SMS, Gtalk, photography and so on). I will each Note: If you will advance tasks such as GPS, but constant Foursquare Checkin and ETC Battery drain much faster, and is only upwards of 5 hours. The LCD on the phone is a huge disappointment, even for a low-end device in the light of today’s technology. It offers a 3 inch screen, and produced only a 240 by 400 pixel resolution, which is low even for some of the still at the lower end Android phones.

BUY NOW SAMSUNG INTERCEPT ANDROID PHONE WITH DISCOUNT

Now we move to our favorite do or die every aspect Android device, the UI. For most of the Android user interface is vanilla, but there are a few adjustments from Samsung. Some of the things you will notice from Samsung, the drop-down tray additions of incoming and outgoing call screen, screen lock, and a few other little things I’m sure I have overlooked. All-in-all UI is what is expected in Android. It comes with Android 2.1 a.k.a Eclair. But I will note the UI seems a bit laggy, I do not know if it is the extensions of Samsung or the vanilla Android is just lags more on this low-end device.

Performance, performance, oh I have already mentioned performance? In this area, I was disappointed greatly. My old T-Mobile G1 feels faster than this device and the phone is released again. You will notice any delay when switching screens, pulling up applications will be answered and outgoing calls and the list unfortunately. I thought the unit just needed some time to get broke, but after playing with him for a while and restarting the phone did not show any signs of improvement.

BUY NOW SAMSUNG INTERCEPT ANDROID PHONE WITH DISCOUNT

I think the keyboard is very nicely designed and spaced out, but it takes a little too familiar for it is not your standard layout used. It feels very comfortable and feels as if it were dealing with a very nice piece of extensive use. I would like to see more Android phones come with a physical keyboard like this

The network connection on the phone has a huge gap, as they constantly dropping the network connection and stay away until the phone is restarted. One could argue that the service, but I have a HTC EVO 4G Intercept as a daily driver and I get great reception all day long in the exact same location as the Samsung. One could also argue that this particular device may be, but my wife has one as well and it’s the same problems with network and performance. The camera on this phone is average. So I would it a 3.5 5 Examination of the device. It sports 3.2 megapixel.

BUY NOW SAMSUNG INTERCEPT ANDROID PHONE WITH DISCOUNT

Final thoughts, this project is but one Android device is very low grade and passed, would have much nicer with a few improvements. I know that from a certain point of view would most argue that it can not be expected to have your cake and eat it at a lower end unit, but these days things like LED messages, smooth UI’s is a decent camera and reliable network connection a must. We are in 2010, not 1998. I really hope you enjoyed this review and hope this can help you with your future purchases of equipment. If you ask me whether I would recommend this phone to anyone my answer is no, even for a beginner Android. I feel this phone does not give you a full Android experience
