Verizon Wireless has unveiled its LG Octane. The LG Octane is similar to LG ENV4 but the former design is a bit different, but otherwise has similar features such as dual display, keyboard and flip out the keypad. Performance
When we tested the phone its call quality was mediocre. The callers feel that our voice sounded different with a little echo. Speakerphone calls had more echo effect. The speed of the EV-DO Rev had disappointing speed. To download a song, it took almost a minute and a half. Streamed videos look pixelated and blocky. Audio quality was good and it has sound through the stereo speakers well. The bass was not as dominant. Octane has A2DP stereo, but the 2.5 mm jack is really disappointing. The phone is best for messaging and other features of performance is quite good, but we want the internal display is touchscreen. Apart from the echo effect during the talks it has nothing to complain about.
