BlackBerry is a massive undertaking in the smartphone market, and it is no surprise that they have the only one with more than one phone in this list – even if this may also move a reflection of the inexperience of the other companies in this market.So The BlackBerry Storm is on the most obvious question is how different it is from the fat, and I suppose the natural thing is to use a touch screen instead of a QWERTY keyboard. This is an attempt to open up another bit of the market and is BlackBerry’s first real attempt at a full touch screen, apparently prompted by the iPhone.
The touch screen makes navigating immediately (in the menus) is very simple, although it is perhaps not as smooth as the iPhone, and the 360 x 480 resolution is not up to HTC standards. Despite use of these very nice and the “click-through” screen (where the screen acts as a button) is really a great idea, so that the choice of the article more “natural” and typing much easier. Granted, it takes a little getting used to, but if you find that it is much more satisfying than any other touch-screen keyboards do. The screen itself is good, the resolution of 360 x 480 is perfectly adequate, the 3.25 inch size is just large enough and it is also very light so that you do even in the sun.

The storm has a unique selection of features, especially when you consider what the Bold: is the main thing that is missing is a Wi-Fi adapter, a very strange thing that a modern mobile phone is excluded like this, but the rest of the connections are all there satnav including a six-month subscription to Vodafone software. One of the most irritating things on this phone is the poor office functions that you can only read and edit documents. This is quite frustrating especially if you’re someone who does the work to be done on the move, and it is a shame that RIM is not a full Office program was to them.
